HOW TO HAVE PEACE WITH GOD
To have peace with God, you must simply develop the ability to properly follow Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Matt. 3:17, Luke 9:23-27, Rom 5:1). IT IS THAT SIMPLE!!!
Salvation is FREE (Eph 2:8-9), but sanctification takes effort (St. John 17:17, Rom 12:1-2, II Tim 2:19-21, etc.).
Jesus came into the world to take away the sin of the world (St. John 1:29) as well as to TEACH us how to live right before God the Father (Matt 4:23, Mark 1:22, Luke 4:31, Luke 4:43, St. John 18:37). The Bible tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life: no one come unto the Father, but by Jesus (St. John 14:6). Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 5:1).
So with that in mind, if you properly follow Jesus (Luke 9:23-27), you will have peace with God, GUARANTEED!!! To LEARN more about how to have peace with God, you must simply read and follow the Biblical scriptures noted below (in addition to the Bible as a whole):
- Is 59:1-2 – Our sins (and ONLY our sins) have prevented us from having peace with God.
- Matt 4:17 – To have peace with God, we must have our sins forgiven (you must repent).
- Luke 24:45-47 – In the name of Jesus, the forgiveness (remission) of sin is obtained/received.
- Rom 3:23 – We all have sinned at one time or another.
- Acts 4:12 – Jesus is the Only One who has the power to forgive our sins.
- I John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us of our sins.
- Rev 3:20 – Jesus is standing at the door of your life. WILL YOU ANSWER?
- St. John 15:1-8 – Read and obey the Word of God on a daily basis (Joshua 1:8).
- Matt. 28:18-20 – Tell others about Jesus (which will enable them to learn how to have peace with God).
May God be glorified in all things (I Peter 4:11) – who will have all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (I Tim 2:1-4).
